This report details the program, proceedings and outcomes of the First 1000 Days Scientific Symposium, the first of four symposiums to be held at, and led by, the University of Melbourne. The aim of the Symposium, held on 2 April 2015, was to support the widespread development and implementation of evidence-based strategies and interventions into the health and wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children from conception to the age of two, and to facilitate key collaborations between community and agency stakeholders.
